Real Madrid delivered a statement performance in the Liga ACB, dismantling La Bruixa d'Or Manresa 120–83 in a game that was effectively decided before the final quarter. The hosts surpassed the century mark with time to spare, showcasing the depth and firepower that make them one of the most feared teams in Spanish basketball.

Match Overview

From the opening possession, Real Madrid imposed their will. A relentless defensive effort generated turnovers, and the transition offense that followed turned a competitive opening into a rout. By half-time the lead had stretched beyond 20 points, and the second half became an opportunity for the coaching staff to rotate the bench and manage minutes ahead of a busy fixture list.

Quarter-by-Quarter

• Q1: Real Madrid 32–20 Manresa
• Q2: Real Madrid 30–22 Manresa
• Q3: Real Madrid 28–20 Manresa
• Q4: Real Madrid 30–21 Manresa
• Final: Real Madrid 120–83 La Bruixa d'Or Manresa

Key Moments

The first quarter set the tone. Madrid opened with a 12–2 run that forced an early Manresa timeout, and even after the visitors steadied themselves, the hosts continued to score at will. A spectacular alley-oop in the closing seconds of the first period pushed the margin into double digits and brought the home crowd to its feet.

Any hope of a Manresa comeback was extinguished early in the third quarter. Madrid opened the second half with a 10–0 burst, converting three consecutive Manresa turnovers into points at the other end. The lead ballooned past 30, and the final 12 minutes were played at a comfortable pace.

Tactical Story

Madrid's defensive pressure was the foundation of the win. Their guards picked up full court, denied easy entry passes and forced Manresa into long, low-percentage possessions. The rebounding battle was equally emphatic, giving the hosts repeated extra opportunities.

Offensively, Madrid shared the ball beautifully. The team racked up a high number of assists, with points coming from inside, from the mid-range and from beyond the arc. Manresa tried switching defenses and then dropped into a zone, but neither adjustment slowed the flow of Madrid's ball movement.

Standout Performers

• Pedro Salgado orchestrated the offense with poise, controlling tempo and finding shooters in rhythm.
• Malik Turner was the game's leading scorer, punishing Manresa from the perimeter and in transition.
• Bruno Kolaković dominated the paint, finishing efficiently and protecting the rim.
• For Manresa, Jordi Ventura competed hard and finished as his team's top scorer, while Ryan Alston provided energy off the bench.

Season Impact

This is the sort of result that shapes the Liga ACB title race narrative. Real Madrid's scoring depth — breaking 30 points in every quarter — underlines why they remain perennial contenders for both domestic honors and European glory. Their home record continues to be one of the strongest in Spain.

Manresa will treat the evening as a learning experience. Facing a roster of this caliber on the road is one of the toughest assignments in the league, and their focus will now shift to the more winnable fixtures that will define their campaign. The two sides will meet again later in the season, when Manresa will hope for a far more competitive contest on home hardwood.
