Real Madrid produced a statement road performance in the Liga Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto, overwhelming Forca Lleida 122-86 on October 26, 2026. The visitors controlled the game from the opening minutes, turned defense into transition offense and never allowed Lleida to settle into a comfortable half-court rhythm.

Match overview

Real Madrid’s superiority was clear early. The team moved the ball with precision, attacked closeouts and punished Lleida on the offensive glass. By halftime, the game already had the feel of a mismatch, with Madrid leading 61-44 and shooting with high efficiency from both inside and beyond the arc.

• First quarter: Forca Lleida 20-30 Real Madrid
• Second quarter: Forca Lleida 24-31 Real Madrid
• Third quarter: Forca Lleida 22-32 Real Madrid
• Fourth quarter: Forca Lleida 20-29 Real Madrid
• Final score: Forca Lleida 86-122 Real Madrid

Key moments

The decisive run arrived in the first quarter. After Lleida briefly traded baskets, Real Madrid ripped off a 10-0 surge that silenced the home crowd and forced an early timeout. Madrid’s pressure defense created turnovers, and the visitors converted those mistakes into layups and open threes at the other end.

Lleida’s best spell came early in the second quarter, when it scored on three consecutive possessions to cut the gap to single digits. Madrid answered with a balanced scoring burst from its bench and rebuilt the lead before halftime. The third quarter removed any doubt: Madrid opened with a 12-3 run and kept the margin above 25 for much of the second half.

Tactical story

Real Madrid’s depth was the defining factor. The starting unit established control, and the bench maintained the same intensity, allowing the coaching staff to rotate freely without losing offensive rhythm. Madrid finished with six players in double figures and generated 30 assists, a clear sign of how often the extra pass found an open shooter.

Lleida tried to slow the game with zone defense and physical interior play, but Madrid’s ball movement picked the zone apart. When Lleida switched to man-to-man, Madrid attacked off the dribble and drew help defenders before finding cutters. The home side competed on the boards in patches, but it could not match Madrid’s pace in transition.

• Field-goal shooting: Real Madrid 58%, Forca Lleida 42%
• Three-pointers: Real Madrid 16, Forca Lleida 9
• Assists: Real Madrid 30, Forca Lleida 18
• Turnovers: Real Madrid 8, Forca Lleida 16

Standout performers

Madrid’s backcourt dictated the game, combining for efficient shooting and a high number of assists. The frontcourt controlled the defensive glass and finished around the rim, while the bench provided instant scoring in both halves. It was a complete team performance rather than a one-man show.

For Lleida, the leading scorer fought hard and finished with 19 points, but the team’s offensive flow stalled whenever Madrid increased ball pressure. Lleida’s young rotation gained valuable experience against one of the league’s strongest squads, even if the final score was harsh.

Season impact

The win reinforces Real Madrid’s status as a major contender in the Liga ACB and gives the team a strong road result to build on. The margin of victory also improves its point differential, which can be significant in a tightly packed standings race. For Forca Lleida, the priority is to reset quickly and focus on the next home opportunity, because the schedule offers little time to dwell on a heavy defeat.
