DKV Joventut delivered a statement home victory in the Liga Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto, beating MoraBanc Andorra 96-75 on October 15, 2026. The Badalona club controlled the game from the second quarter onward, combining efficient outside shooting with a dominant interior performance to move clear in the Liga ACB standings.

Final score: DKV Joventut 96, MoraBanc Andorra 75.

Match Overview

Joventut opened with intent and never let Andorra find a comfortable rhythm. The hosts scored 51 points in the first half, built a 13-point halftime lead, and then pulled away in the third quarter. By the time the fourth period began, the game was effectively settled, with Joventut leading 74-55.

The result matters in the early-season Liga ACB table. Joventut’s offense looked balanced and deep, while Andorra’s road struggles continued against a team with strong home-court energy.

First Half: Joventut Sets the Tone

Joventut won the first quarter 24-18, using sharp ball movement and quick transitions to get open looks. The second quarter was even more impressive: a 27-20 advantage pushed the halftime score to 51-38. Andorra tried to slow the game with zone defense, but Joventut’s shooters found gaps and the big men punished mismatches inside.

Andorra stayed competitive for brief stretches behind perimeter scoring, but they could not string together enough defensive stops. Joventut’s lead grew whenever the home side forced a turnover or grabbed an offensive rebound.

Second Half: No Way Back for Andorra

The third quarter sealed the outcome. Joventut outscored Andorra 23-17 to take a 74-55 lead into the final period. The hosts mixed lineups, kept the pace high, and continued to attack the rim. Andorra managed 20 points in the fourth, but Joventut answered with 22 and never allowed the visitors to cut the deficit below 15 in the closing minutes.

Key Moments

• Second-quarter break: A 12-3 Joventut run turned a six-point lead into a 40-25 advantage.
• Halftime cushion: Joventut went into the break up 51-38 after a late three-pointer.
• Third-quarter knockout: An 8-0 start to the second half pushed the lead past 20 points.
• Bench boost: Joventut’s reserves maintained the intensity, extending the lead even with the starters resting.

Tactical Story

Joventut’s offense was built on inside-out balance. Veteran center Ante Tomic drew double-teams in the post, opening shooters on the perimeter. Forwards like Joel Parra cut behind the defense, and guards such as Guillem Vives controlled the tempo. The result was a high-assist, low-turnover performance that typified Joventut’s Liga ACB identity.

MoraBanc Andorra struggled to contain dribble penetration. Once Joventut broke the first line of defense, Andorra’s rotations were late, leading to open corner threes and offensive rebounds. On offense, Andorra relied heavily on individual shot creation. Jerrick Harding and Tyson Perez had productive moments, but the team lacked enough secondary scoring to keep pace.

Standout Players and Season Impact

Joventut’s win was a complete team effort. Tomic’s post presence, Parra’s activity, and Vives’ control gave the hosts a reliable spine. The bench added energy and scoring, turning the game into a comfortable result.

For Andorra, the loss highlights the need for better road defense and more balanced shot distribution. The Liga ACB season is long, but dropping games by more than 20 points can hurt tiebreakers later. Joventut, meanwhile, strengthens its case as a playoff contender and a team capable of scoring with anyone in the league.
