Tactical Story

Cordoba’s game plan was built on ball pressure and help defense. They forced Zamora into 17 turnovers and held them to 5-of-24 shooting from three-point range. On offense, Cordoba shared the ball well, finishing with 19 assists on 27 made field goals. Their interior defense was especially strong, limiting Zamora to 18 points in the paint. Standout Players

• Alejandro Ruiz (Cordoba): 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, leading all scorers.
• Ivan Bazán (Cordoba): 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, providing steady two-way play.
• Diego Torres (Zamora): 13 points and 6 rebounds, one of the few bright spots for the visitors.
• Bruno Almeida (Zamora): 11 points and 4 assists, but struggled with five turnovers.

Season Impact

This is a valuable early win in the Primera FEB promotion race, giving Cordoba momentum and a strong home foundation. The league is known for its physical style and deep playoff push toward ACB promotion, so defensive performances like this will matter greatly over the long season. Zamora will need to regroup quickly, especially on offense, where their outside shooting and ball security let them down. For Cordoba, the challenge now is to carry this level of intensity on the road.
