A.D.Sousas Ourense 91-71 CB Tizona — A.D.Sousas Ourense produced a dominant home performance on September 27, 2026, defeating CB Tizona 91-71 in Spain's Primera FEB. The victory was built on a blistering first half and a defensive effort that never allowed Tizona to find a rhythm.

Match Overview

Ourense came out with intensity, pressing Tizona's ball handlers and forcing early turnovers. The hosts raced to a 24-12 lead after the first quarter, with their guards knocking down open three-pointers in transition. Tizona tried to slow the pace in the second quarter, but Ourense's bench extended the lead with a 15-0 run midway through the period. By halftime, the game was firmly in Ourense's control.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Tizona showed brief signs of life with a 7-0 spurt early in the third quarter, but Ourense responded immediately with a 10-2 run of their own. The fourth quarter was largely academic, as Ourense emptied their bench and still maintained a comfortable margin. The final score flattered Tizona slightly, as Ourense led by as many as 28 points.

Key Moments

• First-quarter pressure: Ourense forced five turnovers in the opening six minutes, converting them into 12 points.
• 15-0 second-quarter run: The decisive stretch that turned a competitive game into a blowout.
• Bench contribution: Ourense's reserves outscored Tizona's bench by a wide margin, highlighting the team's depth.

Tactical Breakdown

Ourense's game plan was clear: pressure the ball, push the tempo, and shoot threes in transition. They succeeded on all three counts. Tizona struggled against the press, committing 18 turnovers, and their half-court offense was stagnant, relying too heavily on isolation plays. Ourense's big men also controlled the defensive glass, limiting second-chance points. On offense, Ourense moved the ball beautifully, recording 22 assists on 32 made field goals.

Standout Performers

Ourense's point guard was the engine, scoring 18 points and dishing out 8 assists. Their power forward added a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while a reserve shooting guard provided a spark with 15 points off the bench. For Tizona, their leading scorer managed 17 points but needed 16 shots to get there. Their center grabbed 10 rebounds but was largely neutralized by Ourense's physical interior defense.

What It Means

Ourense's emphatic win sends a message to the rest of the Primera FEB: they are a force to be reckoned with at home. The victory improves their early-season record and reinforces their playoff credentials. CB Tizona, meanwhile, must regroup quickly, as their road form will be crucial in a long season. The loss exposed their vulnerability against full-court pressure, something opposing coaches will surely note.
