Tactical story

Paisas won this game with pace and shot-making. The home side pushed the ball at every opportunity, attacking before Caimanes could set their half-court defense. Caimanes del Llano received strong scoring performances from their backcourt and wings, who kept the visitors in the game until the final possession. Their effort on the offensive glass created extra chances, but the team could not quite find the one final basket it needed.

What the result means

The win is a significant one for Paisas, who showed they can win a high-scoring game even when their defense is tested. In a competitive Liga de Baloncesto environment, the ability to close out tight games at home is a valuable trait.

Caimanes del Llano leave with a narrow loss but plenty of positives. They competed on the road against a strong offensive team and had a chance to win in the final seconds. Converting one more late possession could have flipped the result, and they will look to carry that level of performance forward.
