Bora produced the standout road performance of the round, beating Ylli 75–64 in the Superliga to hand the home side a defeat on their own floor. Trailing narrowly after a competitive opening quarter, the visitors took control in the second period and never surrendered the lead, closing out a disciplined, defensively driven win.

Match Overview

Ylli came into the game expecting to use their home court and their interior presence to dictate terms, but Bora's half-court defense had other ideas. The visitors packed the paint, forced Ylli into contested mid-range attempts and punished every turnover with quick points in transition. By halftime the pattern of the game was established, and the second half only reinforced it.

It was a win built on control rather than fireworks. Bora shot efficiently from the perimeter, moved the ball patiently against the zone, and made their free throws when Ylli were forced to foul late while chasing the game.

Quarter-by-Quarter Breakdown

Final score: Ylli 64, Bora 75.

Key Moments

Trailing by nine at the break, Ylli opened the third quarter with their most aggressive basketball of the night, attacking the rim and drawing fouls to trim the gap. The arena responded, and for a few minutes a comeback looked genuinely on.

Bora's answer was immediate and clinical. A pair of three-pointers in quick succession restored a double-digit cushion and deflated the home crowd, and from there the visitors managed the clock intelligently, working deep into the shot clock on every possession to deny Ylli the transition chances they needed.

Tactical Story

The game was decided in the half court. Bora's defensive scheme prioritized protecting the paint and forcing Ylli to beat them from the outside, and the home side never found a consistent answer. When Ylli did generate clean looks, they came late in the shot clock and under pressure.

Offensively, Bora's spacing was excellent. Their guards repeatedly turned the corner on ball screens and either finished at the rim or kicked out to open shooters, while their big men crashed the offensive glass to extend possessions. It was a textbook road performance: low turnovers, high-percentage shots and total control of tempo.

Standout Players

• Bora's backcourt: Set the tone on both ends, controlling pace and hitting the big shots whenever Ylli threatened to close the gap.
• Bora's interior defense: Altered shots at the rim throughout and limited Ylli's second-chance opportunities.
• Ylli's third-quarter push: Their aggression on the drive was the bright spot of an otherwise frustrating night.

What It Means

The win is a significant one for Bora, both in the Superliga standings and psychologically — road victories against playoff-caliber opposition are the kind of results that build momentum through a long season. For Ylli, the defeat is a reminder that home advantage only matters if the offense executes; their shooting struggles in the second quarter proved decisive.

Both teams will take clear lessons into their next fixtures, but it is Bora who leave with the points and the confidence.
