Key Moments

The game's defining stretch came in the first quarter. Leading 12-10, Trepca closed the period on a 15-4 run, fueled by three steals and a pair of fast-break dunks. That run pushed the lead to 27-14 and set the tone for the rest of the night.

Vellaznimi briefly threatened in the early third quarter, scoring six straight points to cut the lead to 53-40, but Trepca responded with a 14-2 run over the next four minutes. The hosts' defensive pressure created easy transition baskets, and the margin never dropped below 20 again.

Tactical Story

Trepca won this game with defense and transition offense. They forced 21 turnovers and turned them into 28 points, repeatedly beating Vellaznimi down the floor. On the glass, Trepca held a 45-33 advantage and limited second-chance opportunities. Offensively, they shared the ball well, finishing with 23 assists and six players scoring at least eight points.

Vellaznimi struggled against Trepca's full-court pressure and had no answer for the hosts' speed in the open floor. Their half-court offense was stagnant at times, and they settled for contested jumpers rather than attacking the rim consistently.

Standout Players

• Besnik Krasniqi (Trepca): 22 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals — set the defensive tone and finished in transition.
• Ardit Gashi (Trepca): 19 points, 7 assists — controlled the game with poise and precision.
• Valon Shala (Trepca): 14 points, 9 rebounds — dominated the paint on both ends.
• Endrit Morina (Vellaznimi): 16 points, 5 rebounds — one of the few bright spots for the visitors.
• Alban Hoxha (Vellaznimi): 12 points, 4 assists — productive but unable to slow Trepca's run.

Season Impact and What’s Next

The 94-68 win is a major statement for Trepca in the Superliga standings. It boosts their point differential and reinforces their reputation as one of the league's toughest home teams. For Vellaznimi, the loss is a tough night, but it also provides a clear checklist of areas to fix: ball security, transition defense, and interior rebounding.

Trepca will look to build on this performance in their next outing, while Vellaznimi must regroup quickly. If these teams meet again later in the season, Trepca will carry the head-to-head advantage and plenty of confidence.
