KB Bashkimi Dominate Bora 78-58 in Superliga Showdown

KB Bashkimi cruised to a decisive 78-58 victory over Bora in the Kosovo Basketball Superliga on October 11, 2026. The home side controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing their depth and defensive prowess in a one-sided contest.

Match Overview

Bashkimi wasted no time establishing dominance, opening the game with a 12-2 run. Their full-court pressure forced Bora into early turnovers, which Bashkimi converted into easy transition baskets. Bora struggled to find any rhythm offensively, settling for contested jumpers and missing open looks. By the end of the first quarter, Bashkimi led 24-10. The second quarter was more of the same, as Bashkimi's bench extended the lead. At halftime, the score stood at 45-25, and the game was effectively over.

Key Moments

The most impressive stretch came in the third quarter when Bashkimi went on a 14-0 run, highlighted by three consecutive three-pointers from their shooting guard. Bora's coach tried to stop the bleeding with timeouts, but Bashkimi's momentum was overwhelming. The fourth quarter saw Bashkimi empty their bench, and Bora managed to chip away at the lead against the reserves, but the outcome was never in doubt.

Tactical Breakdown

Bashkimi's defense was the story of the game. They held Bora to just 34% shooting from the field and forced 18 turnovers. Their aggressive help defense and quick rotations disrupted Bora's pick-and-roll actions all night. Offensively, Bashkimi shared the ball beautifully, recording 24 assists on 30 made field goals. They also dominated the boards, out-rebounding Bora 42-28. Bora's inability to protect the ball and make open shots doomed any chance of a comeback.

Standout Players

• Drilon Hajrizi (KB Bashkimi): 20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists. A complete performance from the veteran forward.
• Dardan Berisha (KB Bashkimi): 16 points, 5 assists. Provided scoring punch and leadership in the backcourt.
• Alban Veseli (Bora): 15 points, 7 rebounds. One of the few bright spots for the visitors.
• Besnik Azemi (Bora): 10 points, 4 assists. Struggled with Bashkimi's defensive pressure.

League Table Impact

With this win, KB Bashkimi reaffirms their status as a top contender in the Superliga. Their balanced attack and stifling defense make them a tough matchup for any team. Bora, on the other hand, will need to regroup quickly to avoid falling further behind in the standings. The Superliga season is long, but Bashkimi's early statement sends a clear message to the rest of the league.
