Emlak Konut Women delivered a statement road victory in the Turkish Women's Basketball Super League, beating OGM Ormanspor Women 94-78 on October 10, 2026.

The game was tight through the opening half, but Emlak Konut’s defense and perimeter shooting turned the contest after the break. The win strengthens Emlak Konut’s position in the standings and hands Ormanspor a home defeat that may sting for weeks.

Match Overview

OGM Ormanspor started with energy in front of their home crowd and used inside scoring to edge ahead early. Emlak Konut answered with quick ball movement and timely three-point shooting, keeping the game within a single possession for most of the first half. Ormanspor held a narrow 41-40 lead at halftime, but the visitors had already shown signs that their spacing and pace were causing problems.

• Quarter scores: Ormanspor 18-21, 23-19, 16-28, 21-26
• Halftime: Ormanspor 41, Emlak Konut 40
• Final: OGM Ormanspor Women 78, Emlak Konut Women 94

Key Moments

The decisive stretch came in the third quarter. Emlak Konut opened the period with a 14-2 run, forcing Ormanspor into rushed shots and turnovers. What had been a one-point game quickly became a double-digit advantage. Ormanspor tried to respond in the fourth quarter with a more aggressive drive-and-kick approach, but every mini-run was met by an Emlak Konut answer from beyond the arc or at the free-throw line.

The visitors’ ability to score in transition was especially damaging. Emlak Konut repeatedly turned defensive rebounds into early offense, preventing Ormanspor from setting its half-court defense. By the final five minutes, the home side was chasing the game and fouling to stop the clock, but Emlak Konut closed out the win with composure.

Standout Performers

Emlak Konut’s balanced attack was the story, with four players finishing in double figures. Their lead guard controlled the tempo, repeatedly breaking Ormanspor’s pressure and finding open shooters on the wing. Inside, Emlak Konut’s frontcourt won the rebounding battle and converted second-chance opportunities, a category that proved crucial in the second half.

For OGM Ormanspor, the top scorer kept the team competitive early with tough finishes around the rim, but foul trouble and increased defensive attention limited her impact after halftime. The home side also struggled at the free-throw line in key moments, leaving points on the board during the third-quarter collapse.

Tactical Story

Emlak Konut adjusted defensively after halftime, switching between a compact zone and aggressive man-to-man looks. That change disrupted Ormanspor’s half-court rhythm and forced several contested perimeter shots. Offensively, Emlak Konut attacked mismatches, pulled Ormanspor’s bigs away from the basket, and created driving lanes for their guards.

Ormanspor’s best moments came when it played through the high post and generated weak-side cuts. However, those possessions became too infrequent once Emlak Konut increased its ball pressure. The rebounding differential and turnover count ultimately told the story of the game.

Season Impact

This result is a significant one in the Turkish Women's Basketball Super League playoff race. Emlak Konut showed it can win on the road against a quality opponent, a trait that matters when the schedule tightens later in the season. For Ormanspor, the loss is a reminder that consistency on both ends remains the biggest hurdle.

The two sides will not meet again immediately, but the head-to-head result gives Emlak Konut a valuable edge if standings and tiebreakers become relevant. Ormanspor must regroup quickly, especially with a demanding run of fixtures ahead.
