Key moments

Their ball movement created open looks, and their defense forced Kayseri Bellona into several difficult possessions. The hosts threatened to cut into the lead after halftime, but Botas Spor answered with timely baskets to preserve control.

In the final period, Kayseri Bellona pushed for a comeback, but Botas Spor's composure at both ends proved decisive. The visitors protected their lead with strong rebounding and made enough free throws and late baskets to keep the home side at arm's length.

Tactical story

Botas Spor's offense was balanced and patient. Rather than relying on one player to carry the scoring load, the visitors moved the ball well and attacked the openings created by Kayseri Bellona's defensive rotations. That balance made it difficult for the hosts to key in on a single threat.

Defensively, Botas Spor did a good job of limiting easy baskets. Kayseri Bellona had stretches of effective play, especially when their guards created shots off the dribble, but the hosts could not sustain those runs. Botas Spor's rebounding and ability to control tempo were central to the result.

Standout performers

Botas Spor received important contributions from their backcourt and frontcourt alike. Guards managed the game well in the closing minutes, while the interior players competed on the boards and made life difficult for Kayseri Bellona around the basket. It was a team performance built on shared responsibility.

Kayseri Bellona had their moments, with individual efforts keeping them within reach for much of the game. However, the hosts needed a more consistent scoring response in the second half and could not find it against Botas Spor's organized defense.

Season impact

This road victory is a meaningful result for Botas Spor Women in the Turkish Women's Basketball Super League. Winning away from home by nine points demonstrates both quality and composure, and it gives the team useful momentum as the season develops.

Kayseri Bellona Women will be disappointed to lose at home but can take lessons from the game. Improving second-half execution and finding more reliable offense against disciplined defenses will be important priorities in the next round of fixtures.
