Asd Loreto Basket struggled to find rhythm against a well-organised defence, and by halftime the contest had taken on a one-sided complexion. The second half saw Virtus Roma extend their advantage, rotating their bench while maintaining their intensity and execution.

Key Moments

• Early dominance: Virtus Roma opened with a commanding run, forcing Loreto into early turnovers and hurried shots.
• Second-quarter control: The home side's defensive stops turned into rapid transition points, stretching the lead well into double figures.

• Bench contribution: Roma's reserves maintained the standard in the final quarter, closing out the win comfortably.

Tactical Story

Virtus Roma's dominance was built on defensive discipline and efficient shooting. Their zone and man-to-man switches disrupted Loreto's offensive flow, while their own half-court sets produced high-percentage looks inside and out. The rebounding battle was similarly one-sided, giving Roma repeated second-chance opportunities and limiting Loreto to mostly contested attempts.

Standout Performances

Roma's balanced scoring attack saw multiple players reach double figures, reflecting the team's depth and unselfish play. The guard play was particularly impressive, combining scoring with vision to pick apart Loreto's defence. For Asd Loreto Basket, the game offered a tough learning experience against one of the stronger sides in the division.

Season Impact

This 29-point win strengthens Virtus Roma's position in the Italy Serie C standings and underlines their credentials as a side to watch. Asd Loreto Basket will need to regroup quickly, focusing on ball security and defensive rotations ahead of their next outing. For Roma, the challenge now is maintaining this level of consistency across the season.
