The home side raced to a 28-12 lead after the first quarter and extended the advantage to 50-26 by halftime. The third quarter was more of the same, with Venezia's bench contributing heavily, and the final period was a formality as the margin ballooned past 40 points.

• Third quarter, 4:30: Venezia's center blocked a shot, then ran the floor for an alley-oop dunk that brought the home crowd to its feet.

Tactical Breakdown

Venezia's coaching staff emphasized ball movement and transition offense, and it paid off. They finished with 24 assists on 36 made field goals, constantly finding open shooters against Brixia's zone defense. Defensively, Venezia switched aggressively on screens, disrupting Brixia's pick-and-roll action. Brixia was held to 30% shooting from the field and committed 19 turnovers, many leading to Venezia fast-break points.

Standout Performers

Venezia's starting backcourt was sensational. The point guard orchestrated the offense with 18 points and 11 assists, while the shooting guard added 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including four three-pointers. In the paint, the center recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, along with three blocks. Brixia's leading scorer managed 14 points, but she received little help as no other teammate reached double figures.

Season Impact

With the win, Umana Reyer Venezia remains undefeated at home and strengthens its grip on first place in the Serie A Women standings. Brixia, meanwhile, drops further into the relegation zone and will need to regroup quickly. The head-to-head record now favors Venezia, who has won the last five meetings between the two clubs. Next up, Venezia travels to face a tough opponent, while Brixia hosts a mid-table side in a must-win game.
