Both teams came out with attacking intent, pushing the pace and looking for early scoring opportunities. Hapoel Lev Jerusalem Women moved the ball well and found success from the perimeter, while Holon Woman responded with aggressive drives and strong interior play. The first half was fast-paced, with neither defense able to fully contain the other.

The lead changed hands repeatedly, and the game remained close into the fourth quarter. Every run was met with a response, setting up a dramatic final stretch in which execution under pressure became the deciding factor.

Key Moments

The final two minutes provided the defining moments. With the score tight, Hapoel Lev Jerusalem Women produced a crucial basket to edge ahead, then followed it with a key defensive rebound to deny Holon a second-chance opportunity. Holon had a late look to tie or win, but the shot did not fall, allowing Jerusalem to hold on.

Earlier in the fourth quarter, a quick burst of scoring had given Jerusalem a small cushion, but Holon answered with back-to-back baskets to keep the pressure on. The game ultimately came down to which team could make the smarter plays in the closing possessions.

Tactical Story

Hapoel Lev Jerusalem Women’s offense was at its best when the ball moved quickly and their guards attacked the paint. They generated open three-point looks by drawing help defenders and kicking out. Their transition game also caused problems for Holon, especially when rebounds were secured and pushed quickly.

Holon Woman stayed competitive by dominating stretches inside and getting to the free-throw line. However, their defense had trouble containing Jerusalem’s perimeter shooters, and a few late defensive breakdowns proved costly.

Standout Performers

Jerusalem’s backcourt was instrumental in the win, combining scoring and playmaking while maintaining composure in the final minutes. Their interior players contributed important rebounds and contested shots. The team’s balanced attack made it difficult for Holon to key in on one scorer.

Holon Woman received strong individual performances, particularly from their inside players and guards who attacked the rim. Despite the loss, their offensive output showed they can score with any team in the league. The difference was a handful of defensive possessions in the closing seconds.
