The Israel Women’s Premier League fixture between Hapoel Lev Jerusalem Women and Elitzur Ramla Women is recorded as a 0-0 result on October 20, 2026, a scoreline that stands out immediately in a competition where games are usually defined by fast breaks, three-point shooting and free throws.

A rare scoreline

Basketball scoreboards rarely stay blank, which makes the 0-0 outcome between Hapoel Lev Jerusalem Women and Elitzur Ramla Women one of the more unusual entries in the league’s recent records. The game produced no separating points and no traditional winner in the usual sense, leaving both teams level on the scoreboard when the result was recorded.

For supporters, the fixture will be remembered as an anomaly rather than a conventional shootout. For the league, it adds an unusual historical footnote to a season already filled with contrasting styles and competitive matchups.

The matchup

Hapoel Lev Jerusalem Women entered the game looking to assert themselves against one of the league’s more recognizable opponents, while Elitzur Ramla Women carried the expectations that come with being a regular contender in Israeli women’s basketball. The matchup promised a test of discipline, defensive organization and composure in possession.

Instead, the scoreboard remained at 0-0, denying both sides the chance to claim a conventional victory. The result leaves the fixture as a talking point for followers of the Israel Women’s Premier League, particularly those tracking head-to-head records and unusual scorelines across the season.

League context

The Israel Women’s Premier League is home to a competitive mix of established clubs and ambitious sides, and every fixture can shape the standings. While most games are decided by offensive runs and late-game execution, this result will be filed differently — as a match that produced no points and no clear on-court winner.

For Hapoel Lev Jerusalem Women, the game represents another chapter in their campaign against a strong opponent. For Elitzur Ramla Women, it is a result that breaks the usual rhythm of their season and adds an unexpected line to their match history.

What it means

The 0-0 scoreline does not deliver the usual statistical story of top scorers, rebounding margins or fourth-quarter runs. What it does provide is a moment of intrigue: a basketball result that immediately invites questions and makes the fixture memorable in its own unusual way.

As the season progresses, both teams will look to move past the blank scoreboard and return to the kind of high-scoring, decisive basketball that defines the Israel Women’s Premier League.
