FCSM Csata (W) produced a dominant road performance in the Hungary Women's Div.A, dismantling Vasas Csata Womens 90-63. A blistering opening quarter set the tone, and the visitors never relinquished control, extending their advantage steadily across all four periods to record a comprehensive 27-point victory.

Match Overview

The final scoreline underlined the gulf in execution on the night. FCSM Csata moved the ball beautifully, generated open looks from the perimeter and punished every Vasas turnover with quick transition offense. Vasas Csata Womens, by contrast, struggled to find any offensive rhythm, particularly in the first half, when their shot selection was rushed and their spacing broke down against aggressive defense.

Quarter-by-Quarter Breakdown

• Q1: Vasas 16-25 FCSM Csata — a fast start gave the visitors immediate control.
• Q2: Vasas 14-22 FCSM Csata — the lead swelled past 20 before half-time.
• Q3: Vasas 17-21 FCSM Csata — Vasas improved but could not make a dent.
• Q4: Vasas 16-22 FCSM Csata — FCSM closed out with the bench on the floor.

Key Moments

The game was effectively decided inside the first ten minutes. FCSM Csata opened with a 12-2 run built on three-point shooting and relentless defensive pressure, forcing Vasas into early turnovers. The hosts managed a brief 6-0 response midway through the second quarter, but FCSM immediately answered with seven straight points to restore a 20-point cushion that they never surrendered.

Tactical Story

FCSM Csata's game plan was clear and executed near-flawlessly: push the pace, spread the floor, and shoot with confidence from beyond the arc. Their ball movement consistently found the open player, and their accuracy from three-point range stretched Vasas's defense to breaking point. When the hosts scrambled out to contest, FCSM's guards attacked the closeout and created scoring opportunities inside.

Defensively, the visitors were equally impressive. Their switching schemes disrupted Vasas's half-court sets, and their work on the defensive glass limited second-chance points. Vasas found some success when they attacked the rim directly, but those moments were too infrequent to change the trajectory of the contest.

Standout Performers

FCSM Csata's perimeter players were the story of the night, combining for a high volume of points and assists while controlling the tempo. Their interior players contributed on the boards at both ends, securing extra possessions and limiting Vasas's opportunities. For Vasas Csata Womens, the brightest moments came from their forwards, who battled hard in the paint despite limited service, and from a bench unit that maintained effort levels even as the deficit grew.

What It Means

This is a significant result in the Hungary Women's Div.A standings. Road wins of this magnitude build momentum and confidence, and FCSM Csata will take considerable encouragement from a performance that was comprehensive in every phase. Vasas Csata Womens, meanwhile, will need to address their slow starts and turnover problems if they are to climb the table, but the fight shown in the second half suggests the squad has the character to respond.

Final score: Vasas Csata Womens 63, FCSM Csata (W) 90.
