Match Overview

The contest began with both teams trading baskets in a cagey, defense-first opening. GS Kifisias used their home support to stay level through the early exchanges, but Kao Likovrisis gradually imposed their structure on the game. Their disciplined half-court offense and willingness to work the ball inside-out gave them an edge that grew as the game wore on.

By the closing quarter, the visitors had established control, limiting GS Kifisias's scoring options and converting their own chances with efficiency. The final 78-65 scoreline reflects a game where Kao Likovrisis's execution in the decisive moments proved the difference.

• Separation in the middle quarters: Kao Likovrisis tightened their defense and found rhythm offensively, slowly building a lead that forced the home team to adjust.

Tactical Story

Kao Likovrisis approached the game with a clear plan: defend aggressively on the perimeter, contest every shot, and attack decisively in transition. Their spacing on offense allowed them to generate quality looks, and their patience in the half court frustrated a GS Kifisias defense that worked hard but struggled to contain drives and cutters late in possessions.

GS Kifisias showed plenty of fight, particularly with their ball movement and willingness to shoot from the perimeter, but their scoring droughts came at the worst possible times. Missed opportunities in the third quarter allowed Kao Likovrisis to build a cushion they never surrendered.

Standout Performers

Kao Likovrisis's scoring was spread across the roster, with guards controlling tempo and forwards doing the dirty work on the glass. That balance made them difficult to defend for extended stretches. GS Kifisias had bright moments from their leading contributors, but a lack of consistent secondary scoring ultimately limited their ability to stay in touch down the stretch.

Season Impact

The victory is a meaningful one for Kao Likovrisis in the Greece B ESKA standings, reinforcing their credentials as a team capable of winning on the road. For GS Kifisias, the defeat is a missed opportunity on home territory, but the performance offered glimpses of the competitiveness that will be needed in upcoming fixtures. Both clubs will look to build on the lessons from this encounter as the season progresses.
