Key moments

TNT Towers opened the third quarter with five straight points to cut the deficit to 46-44, briefly threatening to make it a one-possession game. Centrum responded with a 15-2 burst over the next four minutes, pushing the lead to 61-46 and forcing the visitors into a timeout. The Tigers closed the third period ahead 73-57 and never allowed TNT closer than 12 points in the final quarter.

The decisive stretch was built on defense. Centrum forced several rushed shots and converted turnovers into easy baskets, while TNT struggled to find consistent offense against the Tigers’ rotating half-court defense. The visitors finished the night cold from beyond the arc, which made it difficult to chip away at the lead once Centrum began protecting the paint.

Tactical story

Centrum Tigers won this game with balance and paint production. The hosts shared the ball well, recorded assists on a high percentage of their made field goals, and punished TNT on the offensive boards. Their guards also did a good job of pushing the pace after defensive rebounds, creating early offense before the TNT defense could set.

TNT Towers leaned heavily on isolation scoring from Jordan Price, who kept the visitors competitive with 24 points. However, the supporting cast struggled to generate steady offense, and TNT’s three-point shooting never found a reliable rhythm. Centrum’s ability to control the defensive glass and limit second-chance opportunities in the second half proved to be the difference.

Standout players

Jonas Berg led Centrum Tigers with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists, setting the tone on both ends. Elias Nyberg added 18 points, including several important baskets during the third-quarter run, while Sander Haugen contributed 14 points and solid perimeter defense. For TNT Towers, Price’s 24 points were the highlight, with Kevin Moore adding 16 in support.

Season impact

The win gives Centrum Tigers a valuable early-season result in the Firi-ligaen and reinforces their home-court strength. For TNT Towers, the loss highlights the need for more balanced scoring and better execution against physical defensive teams. The Tigers will look to carry the momentum into their next fixture, while TNT will focus on reducing turnovers and finding more consistent production around Price.
