Baerum Basket produced a high-scoring statement at home, defeating TNT Towers 109-89 in the Firi-ligaen on 26 October 2026. A potent first-half attack and a dominant third quarter allowed Baerum to pull clear, turning a competitive game into a comfortable victory.

Match overview

Baerum Basket opened strongly and led 28-20 after the first quarter. The pace remained high in the second, with both teams trading baskets, but Baerum maintained control and took a 55-44 advantage into halftime. The third quarter proved decisive: Baerum outscored TNT Towers 30-21 to build an 85-65 cushion, effectively putting the game beyond reach.

TNT Towers matched Baerum in the fourth quarter, 24-24, but the damage had already been done. Baerum’s offensive efficiency and depth proved too much over forty minutes.

Key moments

The decisive run came early in the third quarter. Leading 55-44, Baerum opened the second half with a 14-4 surge, pushing the lead to 69-48. The sequence featured back-to-back three-pointers, a steal that led to a fast-break dunk and an offensive rebound that extended another possession. TNT Towers called timeout, but Baerum’s rhythm was already established.

TNT briefly reduced the margin to 16 points midway through the third, but Baerum responded with a 9-0 run to restore full control. The final quarter was played at a relaxed pace, with Baerum managing their rotations and protecting the lead.

Tactical story

Baerum Basket played at a fast tempo and shared the ball effectively, creating open looks from beyond the arc and at the rim. Their transition game was particularly damaging, as TNT Towers struggled to get back on defense after missed shots. Baerum’s bench also made a significant contribution, maintaining the intensity when the starters rested.

TNT Towers had success inside during the first half but could not sustain it. Their perimeter defense was stretched by Baerum’s ball movement, and foul trouble limited their ability to contest drives in the third quarter.

Standout players

• Marko Vukovic led Baerum with 26 points, including four three-pointers, and added 6 rebounds.
• Erik Hansen contributed 20 points and 8 assists, controlling the tempo from the backcourt.
• Jonas Dahl added 15 points off the bench, giving Baerum valuable scoring depth.
• Darius Cole top-scored for TNT Towers with 24 points, while Kristian Berg added 18.

Season impact

The win gives Baerum Basket a strong early-season result in the Firi-ligaen and signals their potential as a high-scoring force in the competition. For TNT Towers, the defeat highlights the need for greater defensive consistency, especially in the third quarter. Baerum will look to carry their offensive momentum into the next round, while TNT will focus on tightening their transition defense and reducing turnovers.
