Key moments

The game’s decisive spell came early. Jairis opened with a 12-2 run that immediately put Panathlitikos on the back foot, and the visitors never found a consistent offensive rhythm. A 10-0 burst late in the second quarter turned a comfortable lead into a commanding halftime cushion. Early in the third, Jairis delivered another 15-2 surge that removed any realistic hope of a Panathlitikos comeback.

Tactical story

Jairis won this game with defensive pressure and transition execution. The hosts disrupted Panathlitikos’ half-court sets, forced hurried passes and turned live-ball turnovers into easy baskets. On the glass, Jairis limited second-chance opportunities and controlled the defensive rebound, allowing its guards to attack before the visiting defense could set. Offensively, the hosts moved the ball well and punished Panathlitikos inside and out, finishing with a balanced scoring spread rather than relying on one dominant individual performance.

Standout performers

The Jairis backcourt controlled tempo throughout, while the frontline protected the paint and finished around the rim. The bench also made a meaningful contribution, maintaining the intensity and extending the lead in the second half. For Panathlitikos, the night was defined by offensive struggles and an inability to slow Jairis in transition; the visitors had few answers once the hosts began to pull away.

EuroCup Women impact

Beyond the win, the margin matters in a competition where point differential can shape the standings picture. A 98-51 result sends a clear signal about Jairis’ ambition in the EuroCup Women and gives the team momentum heading into its next fixture. For Panathlitikos, the focus will be on regrouping defensively and finding more reliable scoring before the next round.
