• Final Score: Abra Weavers 79 – 72 Hong Kong Eastern
• Competition: East Asia Super League
• Winning Margin: 7 points (Abra Weavers)

How Abra Weavers Sealed the Win

Abra Weavers' victory was built on efficiency rather than volume. The hosts moved the ball well against Hong Kong Eastern's pressure, generating open looks and converting enough of them to keep the visitors chasing. Defensively, they did an excellent job of containing dribble penetration and forcing Hong Kong Eastern into contested mid-range attempts in the second half.

Free-throw shooting and late-game decision-making were also decisive. In a game separated by single digits, Abra Weavers' ability to slow the pace, protect the ball, and convert at the line in the final minutes proved the difference between a win and a nervy finish.

Hong Kong Eastern's Fight

Hong Kong Eastern deserve credit for keeping the game alive deep into the fourth quarter. Their guard play created problems off the dribble, and their willingness to push the ball after makes and misses kept Abra Weavers from fully settling into their preferred defensive shape.

In the end, however, a few costly turnovers and a cold shooting stretch at the worst possible moment left them short. In the East Asia Super League, where every game carries weight in the standings and tiebreakers, closing out tight road contests is the difference between contending and merely competing.
