From the tip-off, the difference in execution was clear. Aritma pushed the pace, attacked the basket with purpose and rotated the ball quickly enough to leave Chomutov's defence a step behind throughout. By the time the game reached its closing stages, the outcome had long since been decided, and the visitors were able to manage minutes and rest key players.

How the Game Unfolded

Aritma started with an intensity that Chomutov B struggled to match. Sharp ball movement created open looks from the perimeter, while aggressive drives forced the home defence to collapse and concede fouls. The visitors built their lead steadily rather than in one sudden burst, which made it all the more difficult for Chomutov to respond.

The second quarter underlined the pattern. Aritma's full-court pressure disrupted Chomutov's offensive sets, generating turnovers that were converted into easy transition points at the other end. Chomutov's reserve side, which relies on youthful energy, found itself rushed on offence and short of options against a well-organised half-court defence.

After the break, Aritma continued to stretch the margin with contributions from across the roster. Bench players saw extended minutes, and the scoring load was shared rather than concentrated — a sign of a squad with real depth. Chomutov's best spells came in short bursts, with occasional three-pointers and strong individual drives, but they never came close to threatening the visitors' advantage.

Key Moments

• An early Aritma run in the first quarter created a gap the hosts never closed.
• Full-court pressure in the second period produced a run of turnovers and transition scores.
• A dominant third quarter effectively put the result beyond doubt.
• Extended bench minutes in the fourth confirmed Aritma's rotation depth.

Tactical Story

The game was decided at both ends of the floor. Aritma's defensive pressure took Chomutov out of their preferred rhythm, limiting clean looks and forcing low-percentage attempts from the perimeter. Offensively, the Prague side shared the ball beautifully, finding the open player rather than settling for contested shots. Chomutov, by contrast, struggled to generate secondary scoring once their first options were taken away, and the rebounding battle also went heavily in Aritma's favour.

Standout Performers

Aritma's backcourt dictated the tempo, combining perimeter shooting with intelligent distribution, while their forwards worked hard on the glass and finished efficiently inside. The bench contributed meaningfully, allowing the coaching staff to rotate freely without losing momentum. For Chomutov B, there were bright moments from their younger players — particularly in transition and from beyond the arc — but the team could not sustain them against such disciplined opposition.

Season Impact and What's Next

An 82-45 road win is a strong statement in Czech Women's Liga1 and gives Aritma Praha Women a valuable boost to their points difference, which can matter significantly when the standings tighten later in the season. It also provides a useful head-to-head edge over Levhartice Chomutov B Women. For Chomutov's reserve side, the focus will be on cutting down turnovers and improving their half-court execution as they continue to develop younger players through competitive minutes.

Both teams return to action in the coming rounds, with Aritma looking to carry this momentum forward and Chomutov B determined to produce a sharper response on home territory.
