Srsni Pisek put on an offensive clinic in the Narodni Basketbalova Liga on Wednesday, running past GAPA Hradec Kralove 111-87 in a fast-paced contest that showcased some of the best shooting the league has seen this season. The hosts topped the century mark with room to spare, controlling the game from the opening minutes and never allowing their opponents to mount a serious challenge.

Match Overview

From the opening tip, Srsni Pisek played with pace and purpose. The home side pushed the ball up the floor at every opportunity, attacked mismatches in transition, and punished Hradec Kralove's defensive rotations with crisp ball movement. The result was a balanced, high-efficiency scoring performance that kept the visitors chasing the game all night.

Hradec Kralove, to their credit, competed hard offensively and scored 87 points of their own — a total that would win plenty of games in this league. The problem was at the other end, where they simply had no answer for Pisek's combination of perimeter shooting and interior finishing.

How the Game Unfolded

The first quarter established the tone. Srsni Pisek came out firing, knocking down outside shots early and forcing Hradec Kralove into early foul trouble. A 30-22 opening period gave the hosts an eight-point edge, but the momentum was clearly in their favor.

The second quarter is where the game began to slip away from the visitors. Pisek's bench contributed meaningful minutes, extending the lead with a steady stream of efficient possessions while the starters rested. By halftime, the home side had stretched the advantage to 58-42 and looked in complete command.

Hradec Kralove produced their best stretch of the game in the third quarter, trading baskets and briefly slowing Pisek's transition attack. But every run was answered, and the hosts closed the period with a 27-25 edge to keep the margin firmly in double digits. The fourth quarter followed a similar pattern, with Srsni Pisek managing the clock, rotating their lineup, and still outscoring their opponents 26-20 to seal the 24-point victory.

Quarter-by-Quarter

• Q1: Srsni Pisek 30-22 GAPA Hradec Kralove
• Q2: Srsni Pisek 28-20 GAPA Hradec Kralove (halftime: 58-42)
• Q3: Srsni Pisek 27-25 GAPA Hradec Kralove
• Q4: Srsni Pisek 26-20 GAPA Hradec Kralove (final: 111-87)

Standout Performers

Pisek's scoring was spread across the roster, which is exactly what makes this kind of performance so difficult to defend. The guards controlled tempo and knocked down open looks, while the forwards did damage on the offensive glass and finished efficiently around the rim. When a team shoots well from the perimeter and wins the battle inside, triple-digit totals become almost inevitable.

For GAPA Hradec Kralove, the offensive output was respectable, and a few players found rhythm in the second half. But defensive lapses — particularly in transition and on closeouts — allowed Pisek to score in bunches. Turning 87 points into a win requires stops, and those stops never arrived.

What It Means in the NBL Standings

Scoring 111 points is a statement, and Srsni Pisek will take real confidence from the way they shared the ball and controlled the pace of the game. In a league where point differential can matter at the end of the season, a 24-point win carries extra value beyond the standings points themselves.

Hradec Kralove leave with work to do on the defensive end. The team has shown it can put the ball in the basket, but consistency on that side of the floor will determine how far they climb in the Narodni Basketbalova Liga table. Their next fixture becomes an important chance to tighten up rotations and limit easy baskets.
