Key Moments

TGN's best passage came midway through the third quarter, when a 9-2 run — sparked by a steal-and-layup and a corner three — brought the home side level and forced a Manresa timeout. The response was immediate and clinical: Manresa scored on four of their next five possessions, three of them from inside the paint.

With two minutes remaining and the margin at four, TGN had two chances to close the gap but missed a contested jumper and turned the ball over on a travelling call. Manresa converted both subsequent trips to the line to seal it.

Tactical Story

Manresa CBF's advantage came from their interior play and their discipline in the half court. They consistently worked the ball inside, drew contact, and finished the game with a significant advantage in free-throw attempts. Their defensive rebounding also limited TGN's second-chance opportunities, a critical factor in such a close contest.

TGN Basquet A W were at their best in transition, using their athleticism to push the pace after defensive stops. However, when forced into set offence, their ball movement slowed and shot selection became more difficult.

Standout Performers

Manresa's frontcourt anchored the win, scoring efficiently in the post and controlling the boards on both ends. Their point guard managed the game intelligently, slowing the tempo when the contest threatened to slip away. For TGN, the wing players provided most of the offensive spark, combining for the majority of the team's perimeter scoring.

What It Means

For Manresa CBF (W), this six-point win is a valuable result in the Club Friendship format — a competitive test passed with composure in a hostile environment. For TGN Basquet A W, the performance showed real promise, particularly defensively, but also highlighted the need for more reliable half-court scoring when transition opportunities dry up.
