Basquete Tatui Dominate Botafogo 83-56 in Club Friendship Road Win

Basquete Tatui produced one of their most complete performances of the Club Friendship season on Friday, October 9, 2026, defeating Botafogo 83-56 in Rio de Janeiro. The visitors controlled the game from the opening quarter, built a double-digit lead before halftime and never allowed the home side to mount a serious comeback.

The 27-point margin tells the story of a night where Basquete Tatui were sharper on both ends of the floor. Botafogo had moments of energy in the second quarter, but inconsistent shooting and costly turnovers prevented them from turning the contest into a genuine battle.

First Half: Tatui Set the Tempo

Botafogo improved in the second quarter. The home side found more success through Caio Mendes in the paint and Henrique Lima off the dribble, cutting the deficit to single digits at one stage. But every time Botafogo threatened to build momentum, Basquete Tatui answered with a composed possession or a transition basket. A late 7-0 run helped Tatui take a 44-30 lead into halftime.
