Brasília’s bench also played a major role, outscoring Cruzeiro’s reserves 24-12 and providing fresh legs in the fourth quarter.

Cruzeiro did much of its best work inside, where Rafael Oliveira and Marcos Vinicius combined for 35 points and 16 rebounds. However, the hosts struggled with turnovers, committing 16 on the night, and Brasília converted those mistakes into 22 points. Cruzeiro’s half-court defense was solid for long stretches, but the late-game breakdowns allowed Brasília to seize control.

Standout Players

For Cruzeiro, Rafael Oliveira led the way with 20 points and seven rebounds, consistently attacking the paint and drawing contact. Marcos Vinicius added 15 points and nine rebounds, giving the hosts a strong interior presence.
