The Dukes generated good looks from beyond the arc but shot inconsistently, and Nord contested the paint well. On offense, Nord shared the ball, recorded 18 assists, and attacked the basket when Klosterneuburg overextended. The visitors also won the rebounding battle, which helped them survive a late shooting slump.

Standout Players

Daniel Novak paced BBC Nord with 22 points and five assists, while Lukas Weber added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Stefan Berger chipped in 12 points and made several important defensive plays. For Xion Dukes Klosterneuburg, Kevin Müller scored 19 points and Thomas Pichler added 14, but the home side committed 17 turnovers, a number that proved costly in such a close contest.

Standings Impact

The Austrian Basketball Superliga table remains competitive, and this result gives BBC Nord an early confidence boost on the road. Klosterneuburg will rue missed opportunities at home, especially after fighting back into the game. Both teams will look to build consistency as the season progresses, but Nord can take real encouragement from its execution in the final three minutes.
