Match Report: Raiders Tirol Outscore Vienna Timberwolves 105-94

Raiders Tirol defeated Vienna Timberwolves 105-94 in a high-scoring Austria Basketball Zweite Liga contest on October 25, 2026. The home side’s pace, transition scoring, and third-quarter surge proved too much for Vienna to handle over the full 40 minutes.

Both teams came out attacking, with the first quarter setting the tone for an up-tempo game. Raiders Tirol held a narrow lead after the opening period and maintained control through halftime before pulling away with a decisive run in the third quarter.

Quarter-by-Quarter Breakdown

• First quarter: Raiders Tirol 28, Vienna Timberwolves 22
• Second quarter: Raiders Tirol 24, Vienna Timberwolves 26
• Third quarter: Raiders Tirol 27, Vienna Timberwolves 21
• Fourth quarter: Raiders Tirol 26, Vienna Timberwolves 25

Raiders Tirol led 52-48 at halftime, then used a 10-2 run early in the third quarter to create separation. Vienna Timberwolves kept scoring in bursts, but they could not string together enough defensive stops to seriously threaten the lead in the final period.

Key Moments and Tactical Story

The third quarter was the turning point. Raiders Tirol increased their defensive pressure, forced turnovers, and turned those opportunities into quick transition baskets. Their ball movement against Vienna’s half-court defense created open looks from beyond the arc and driving lanes to the rim.

Vienna Timberwolves stayed competitive by pushing the pace and attacking the offensive glass, but Raiders Tirol’s depth and rebounding advantage wore them down. The home side also shot efficiently from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter, protecting their lead when Vienna attempted to extend the game.

Standout Players

Marcus Reed led Raiders Tirol with 27 points and seven assists, consistently breaking down the defense in transition. Elias Brunner added 20 points and 11 rebounds, giving the home side a strong interior presence. Vienna Timberwolves were led by Lukas Weber’s 23 points, while their backcourt kept the visitors within reach for long stretches.

What the Result Means

The 105-94 win is a strong home statement for Raiders Tirol in the Austria Basketball Zweite Liga and adds valuable momentum to their season. Vienna Timberwolves showed plenty of offensive fight but will need to improve their defensive consistency after allowing over 100 points. In a league where rhythm and confidence matter, Raiders Tirol’s balanced scoring and late-game control stand out.
