That burst effectively broke the game open and forced Graz to play catch-up for the rest of the night.

Tactical Story

Vienna D.C. Timberwolves excelled on the defensive end. They switched screens effectively, closed out hard on shooters, and forced UBSC-DBBC Graz into low-percentage mid-range attempts. Offensively, the Timberwolves shared the ball well, finishing with a healthy assist total and attacking the basket whenever Graz overextended on the perimeter. Their size inside also proved decisive on the boards.

Standout Players

Season Impact

The win lifts Vienna D.C. Timberwolves in the Austria Women's BDSL standings and reinforces their credentials as a team to watch. UBSC-DBBC Graz will need to improve their half-court offense and rebounding if they are to challenge the league’s top sides. This head-to-head result could matter in the final standings, especially if both teams remain in the playoff conversation.
