The 23:00 tip-off produced an entertaining, back-and-forth encounter that was decided by Graz's execution in the fourth quarter.

Match Overview

The game was tightly contested through the opening two quarters, with Enns/Linz matching their hosts basket for basket and keeping the tempo to their liking. UBI Graz's home advantage began to show after the interval, as they tightened their defense and found a more consistent offensive rhythm. The visitors remained within striking distance into the final period, but Graz's ability to convert in the clutch ultimately proved decisive.

With the scoreboard reading 80-72, the eight-point margin accurately reflects a game that was close for long periods before the hosts pulled away late.

Key Moments

• Third-quarter surge: UBI Graz used a sustained scoring run to build a cushion that would prove crucial in the closing minutes.
• Defensive stands: Consecutive stops in the fourth quarter denied Enns/Linz the momentum they needed to mount a comeback.
• Free-throw composure: Graz converted from the line down the stretch to keep the visitors at arm's length.

Tactical Story

UBI Graz Women controlled the boards and used their size advantage effectively in the paint, generating second-chance points that made the difference over the course of the game. Their defensive rotations were sharp, particularly in the second half, when they closed out on shooters and forced Enns/Linz into difficult mid-range attempts.

Enns/Linz Women deserve credit for their resilience. They moved the ball well and found scoring opportunities, particularly in the first half, but they were unable to sustain that efficiency when Graz raised their defensive intensity. Turnovers in key moments halted their momentum and gave the hosts the extra possessions they needed.

Season Impact

This is a valuable home win for UBI Graz Women in the Austria Women's BDSL standings, reinforcing their competitiveness in the league and rewarding their second-half adjustments. Enns/Linz Women leave with a narrow defeat but can take encouragement from a performance that tested their hosts for much of the evening.
