Match Overview

The Algeria National A Women fixture saw USM Alger Woman take control early and never relinquish it. Playing at home, they combined disciplined defense with efficient offense to dismantle DRNB Staoueli Women, holding their opponents to just 48 points in a performance that underlined their title credentials.

Key Moments

USM Alger Woman set the tone in the opening quarter with intense defensive pressure that disrupted Staoueli's offensive sets. Quick hands in the passing lanes led to easy transition baskets, and by the end of the first period the hosts had established a lead they would protect comfortably.

The second and third quarters saw USM Alger Woman extend their advantage through balanced scoring. Their inside-out attack kept Staoueli's defense guessing, while their rebounding dominance limited second-chance points for the visitors. By the fourth quarter, the outcome was settled, allowing the hosts to rotate their bench and maintain intensity.

Tactical Story

USM Alger Woman's defensive identity was the foundation of the win. They closed out on shooters, communicated well on switches, and forced Staoueli into contested shots late in the shot clock. Offensively, they shared the ball effectively, with multiple players contributing to the scoreline.

DRNB Staoueli Women struggled to find rhythm against the aggressive defense. Their half-court offense relied on isolation plays that USM Alger Woman's help defense neutralized, and their shooting percentage suffered as a result.

Standout Performers

• USM Alger Woman: Balanced scoring and a dominant defensive effort across all four quarters.
• DRNB Staoueli Women: Showed resilience but could not overcome the hosts' pressure and rebounding edge.
