How the game was won

MC Alger’s full-court pressure was the story of the night. RCBBA struggled to bring the ball up cleanly, committing turnovers that MC Alger converted into layups and open three-point attempts. When the game moved into half-court sets, MC Alger’s ball movement created mismatches inside and open shooters on the perimeter. The bench also made a significant impact, maintaining the intensity and scoring pace even after the starters were rotated out.

Standout performers

Ines Boumediene led MC Alger with 22 points, connecting from both inside and beyond the arc. Rania Meziane added 18 points and controlled the offense with poise, while Sabrina Ait Ahmed finished with 14 points and several steals that sparked fast breaks. For RCBBA, Meriem Haddad battled for a team-high 11 points, but the hosts found few answers against MC Alger’s depth and defensive pressure.

What the result means

The victory strengthens MC Alger Women’s position as a serious contender in the Algeria National A Women and sends a clear message to the rest of the league. Their ability to dominate on the road with balanced scoring makes them a dangerous opponent in any venue. RCBBA Women, meanwhile, will need to address turnovers and offensive spacing before their next fixture, as they look to bounce back from a demanding night against one of the league’s most complete sides.
