Key moments

Constantine trimmed the lead to 24-22 early in the second quarter, but Draria responded with an 11-3 run to close the half. The third quarter was the real separation point: Draria opened with a 12-2 burst, turning a ten-point halftime lead into a 20-point advantage. The run featured defensive stops, transition baskets, and an offensive rebound that led to a second-chance three-pointer.

Constantine never stopped working, but Draria’s half-court defense continued to force difficult shots. The hosts’ bench added energy in the final period, and the lead never dipped below 16 after the third-quarter surge.

Tactical story

Draria’s pressure defense disrupted Constantine’s entry passes and forced them into late-clock situations. Offensively, Draria shared the ball well, attacking the paint before kicking out to open shooters. Constantine relied heavily on isolation plays and struggled to generate consistent movement against Draria’s compact defensive shell.

Standout performers

Draria’s starting guard controlled the game with smart decisions and timely scoring, while their forward was active on both backboards. The center protected the rim and altered several shots. For Constantine, the center was the most consistent threat, scoring in the post and drawing fouls, but the supporting cast struggled to find rhythm.

Season impact

For Draria, the win is a statement of intent in the Algeria Super Division standings and a reminder of how difficult they are to beat at home. Constantine will look to regroup defensively and find more ball movement before their next outing.
