Vojvodina edged past Sencur KK 79-76 in a tense, hard-fought Adriatic Basketball D2 contest on October 15, 2026. The three-point margin tells the story of a game that swung back and forth through four quarters and was ultimately decided in the final minute of regulation.

Match Overview

Neither team was able to build a comfortable lead at any stage. The first half was a cagey, physical affair, with both sides struggling to find rhythm against committed defenses. Vojvodina's half-court execution was marginally sharper early on, giving them a slim advantage at the first break, but Sencur KK responded with a strong second quarter built on transition scoring and second-chance points.

Key Moments

• First half: Vojvodina lead by five at the break after a late three-pointer
• Third quarter: Sencur KK open with an 11-2 run to take their first lead since the opening minutes
• Fourth quarter: Seven lead changes in the final eight minutes
• Final minute: A contested jumper and two clutch free throws seal it for Vojvodina

Tactical Story

This was a game decided by execution under pressure. Both teams defended at a high level, and the shooting percentages reflected it — plenty of contested attempts, several shot-clock violations, and a low number of easy baskets. Vojvodina's edge came from their ability to generate points at the free-throw line, attacking the rim late in quarters and drawing fouls on tired legs.

Sencur KK were the more dangerous team in transition. Whenever Vojvodina's offense stalled, Sencur pushed the pace off the defensive rebound and punished them with quick strikes before the defense could set. The problem was that Vojvodina adjusted in the fourth quarter, sending two players back on every shot and forcing Sencur into a slower, half-court game they found harder to win.

Standout Performers

Vojvodina's backcourt leader was the difference-maker, scoring in the clutch and controlling the tempo in the closing minutes. Their power forward was relentless on the offensive glass, generating extra possessions that proved decisive in a game decided by single-digit margins. The bench also contributed significantly, with a reserve guard hitting two crucial three-pointers in the third quarter.

Sencur KK's top scorer produced a strong individual performance, mixing drives with perimeter shooting, while their center anchored the defense and blocked several shots. But foul trouble and a couple of late turnovers undid the visitors' best work.

Adriatic Basketball D2 Impact

A narrow home win keeps Vojvodina firmly in the playoff conversation and gives them valuable head-to-head momentum against a direct rival. In a competition where road wins are precious and margins are tight, holding serve at home while winning the close games is the formula for a top-four finish.

Sencur KK will feel they let one slip. They led in the fourth quarter and had chances to close it out, and losing by three on the road will sting. The response over the next few rounds will say a lot about their ambitions this season.
