Siroki Prima Pivo fell to a 98-91 home defeat against BK ASK Inter Slovnaft Bratislava in an Adriatic Basketball Association League clash on Friday, October 23, 2026. The game was played at a high tempo and remained competitive deep into the fourth quarter, but Bratislava’s perimeter shooting and late free-throw accuracy proved decisive in a seven-point road win.

Match overview

Siroki Prima Pivo opened with energy in front of its home crowd, attacking the paint early and using offensive rebounds to create second-chance points. Bratislava answered with quick ball movement and transition baskets, keeping the score tight through the opening period. Neither side managed to build a double-digit cushion, and the lead changed hands several times before halftime.

The visitors gradually found a rhythm from beyond the arc in the second half. Siroki remained within striking distance thanks to its interior scoring and physical rebounding, but Bratislava’s guards controlled the pace late and converted key possessions when the game was on the line. The final scoreline of 98-91 reflected both teams’ offensive efficiency and the thin margin between them over much of the contest.

Key moments

• Bratislava closed the third quarter with a short scoring run that turned a one-possession game into a more comfortable lead.
• Siroki cut the deficit to three points in the fourth quarter, but Bratislava responded with back-to-back three-pointers.
• In the final two minutes, Bratislava went to the free-throw line repeatedly and converted under pressure to seal the result.

Tactical story

Siroki Prima Pivo did much of its damage inside, using post-ups and offensive rebounds to keep pressure on the Bratislava defense. The home side’s biggest problem was turnovers in the open court, which allowed Bratislava to score easy baskets in transition. Bratislava’s spacing was also a factor: the Slovak club stretched the floor with shooters and forced Siroki to defend longer possessions.

Late in the game, Bratislava switched more aggressively on screens and limited Siroki’s clean looks near the rim. That adjustment, combined with calm decision-making from the backcourt, helped the visitors protect the lead. Siroki kept fighting on the glass, but the inability to string together defensive stops in the final five minutes proved costly.

Standout performers

Luka Marić led Siroki Prima Pivo with 24 points and nine rebounds, repeatedly scoring in the paint and drawing fouls. Marko Jurić added 17 points and six assists, while the home bench provided valuable energy in the first half. For Bratislava, Andrej Kováč paced the attack with 27 points and six assists, hitting several important shots in the fourth quarter. Dávid Horváth contributed 18 points, including four three-pointers, and controlled the tempo down the stretch.

Season impact

The win gives BK ASK Inter Slovnaft Bratislava an important road result in the Adriatic Basketball Association League standings and reinforces its reputation as a dangerous offensive team. For Siroki Prima Pivo, the loss is a frustrating one because the home side stayed close for long stretches but could not close the game. Siroki will need to reduce turnovers and improve late-game execution as it looks to climb the table in the coming rounds.
