KK Krka vs FMP Beograd: FMP Beograd earn 79-68 road win in ABA League

FMP Beograd defeated KK Krka 79-68 on October 12, 2026, in the Adriatic Basketball Association League. The visitors delivered a composed road performance, using defense and balanced scoring to pull away in the second half and hand Krka a tough home loss.

Match Overview

The opening quarter was tight, with both teams trading baskets and feeling each other out. KK Krka had moments of strong half-court execution, but FMP Beograd’s defensive pressure began to disrupt their rhythm. By halftime, FMP had built a nine-point lead, 42-33, and the visitors looked increasingly comfortable on both ends.

Krka came out with more energy in the third quarter, cutting into the deficit behind aggressive drives and a few timely three-pointers. However, FMP answered every run with poise, never allowing the home side to take control. The final quarter belonged to the visitors, who sealed the win with steady free-throw shooting and disciplined possessions.

Key Moments

The pivotal stretch came late in the third and early in the fourth quarter. After Krka had trimmed the lead to five, FMP Beograd responded with a 10-3 run, capped by a transition dunk and an open corner three. That sequence pushed the margin back into double digits and forced Krka to play catch-up basketball.

• Quarter scoring: 18-20, 15-22, 19-18, 16-19.
• Halftime: FMP Beograd 42, KK Krka 33.
• Final: FMP Beograd 79, KK Krka 68.

Tactical Story

FMP Beograd’s defense was the foundation of the win. They limited Krka’s transition opportunities, forced contested jumpers, and controlled the defensive glass. Offensively, FMP shared the ball effectively, with multiple players contributing in double figures and keeping Krka’s defense guessing.

KK Krka struggled to find consistent offense outside of their primary scorers. When FMP switched screens and closed driving lanes, Krka settled for long-range attempts that did not fall at a high enough rate. Their late-game execution also faltered, with several empty possessions in the final five minutes.

Standout Performers

FMP Beograd’s backcourt dictated the pace, combining for timely baskets and assists. Their frontcourt held its own on the boards and protected the rim. For Krka, there were encouraging individual performances, but the team lacked the collective efficiency needed to overturn a strong road side.

Season Impact

The result strengthens FMP Beograd’s position in the Adriatic Basketball Association League standings and gives them confidence for upcoming fixtures. KK Krka will need to regroup quickly, particularly on offense, where they must find more balance if they are to climb the table. Road wins in the ABA League are always valuable, and FMP secured this one with maturity.
