KK Buducnost secured a convincing 82-70 home victory over BK ASK Inter Slovnaft Bratislava in the Adriatic Basketball Association League on Sunday. A strong second-half performance, powered by defensive stops and efficient inside scoring, allowed Buducnost to pull away after a competitive first half.

Match Overview

Buducnost opened the game with aggressive defence and quick transition attacks, but Bratislava stayed within striking distance through patient half-court sets and timely three-point shooting. The first quarter ended with Buducnost holding a small lead, and the second quarter was a back-and-forth affair. The hosts led by five at halftime. The third quarter proved decisive: Buducnost tightened its defence, forced turnovers, and converted them into easy baskets. The lead grew to 15 by the end of the period, and Bratislava could not mount a serious comeback in the fourth.

Key Moments

• Buducnost ended the first quarter on an 8-2 run to take control.
• Bratislava hit three consecutive three-pointers in the second quarter to stay close.
• A 10-0 Buducnost run early in the third quarter broke the game open.
• Buducnost’s bench extended the lead to 17 early in the fourth.
• Bratislava cut the deficit to 10, but Buducnost answered with a dunk and a three-pointer.

Tactical Story

Buducnost’s game plan centred on controlling the paint and limiting Bratislava’s transition opportunities. The hosts used their size advantage to score inside and crash the offensive glass, while their guards pressured the ball and forced several turnovers in the third quarter. Bratislava’s offence relied heavily on perimeter shooting, and when those shots stopped falling in the second half, the team struggled to generate alternative scoring. Buducnost’s defensive rebounding and disciplined half-court defence were the foundations of the 12-point win.

Standout Players

Buducnost’s Nikola Vukovic led all scorers with 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Stefan Perovic added 16 points and six assists, while Milos Radovic contributed 12 points off the bench. For Bratislava, Marek Hruby scored 18 points, and Peter Kovács added 13 points and seven rebounds. Bratislava’s guards combined for eight three-pointers, but the team’s interior defence struggled against Buducnost’s size.

Season Impact

The win strengthens KK Buducnost’s position in the Adriatic Basketball Association League standings and gives them confidence ahead of a demanding stretch of fixtures. For BK ASK Inter Slovnaft Bratislava, the loss highlights the need for more consistent second-half execution. The head-to-head result could matter later in the season if the teams are competing for the same playoff positions.
