• Set 1: MKS Kalisz Women 25-18
• Set 2: MKS Kalisz Women 25-20
• Set 3: MKS Kalisz Women 25-22

Key moments

The second set was where Kalisz truly asserted control. Wroclaw had briefly threatened to make it a tighter contest, but Kalisz’s block produced a run of points that changed the complexion of the frame. In the third set, Wroclaw stayed within striking distance until the final points, but Kalisz’s serving and defense held up under pressure.

A key sequence late in the third saw Kalisz save a potential Wroclaw momentum swing with a dig that led to a transition kill. From there, the hosts closed out the match with confidence, denying Wroclaw any chance of forcing a fourth set.

Tactical story

Kalisz’s victory was rooted in serve-receive stability. Their passing allowed the setter to run a varied offense, and the middle blockers were involved early and often. That balance stretched Wroclaw’s block and created space for the outside hitters. Kalisz also served smartly, mixing pace and placement to keep Wroclaw out of system.

Wroclaw’s best moments came when they managed to slow the game down and attack through the middle. Their block occasionally disrupted Kalisz’s rhythm, but they could not sustain the pressure. Too many unforced errors in transition allowed Kalisz to build and protect leads.

Standout performers

Kalisz’s middle blocker was influential at both ends, scoring with quick attacks and contributing key blocks. The team’s captain led the offense with steady decision-making in tight rallies. For Wroclaw, the opposite hitter worked hard to keep the visitors competitive, while the libero made several impressive defensive plays despite the pressure.

Standings impact and next steps

The 3-0 win gives MKS Kalisz Women a full three points in the TAURON Liga Women table, reinforcing their home strength and their ability to close matches efficiently. Wroclaw Women will take some encouragement from their third-set fight but will need to reduce errors and improve their reception if they are to challenge the league’s stronger sides.

Kalisz will look to maintain their serving and blocking standards in the next fixture. Wroclaw will focus on finding more consistency across all three sets and turning competitive stretches into set wins.
