Radom Women claimed a 3-1 road victory over Budowlani Lodz Women in the TAURON Liga Women on October 29, 2026, recovering from a first-set loss to control the remainder of the match. The result gives Radom an important early-season boost and leaves Lodz searching for consistency.

Match Overview

Budowlani Lodz Women started well and took the opening set 25-22, using home advantage and a steady block to keep Radom under pressure. The visitors responded in the second set, tightening their defense and finding more rhythm in attack to level the match 25-22. Radom then took command, winning the third set 25-20 and the fourth 25-18 to complete a 3-1 victory.

The match highlighted the importance of momentum in TAURON Liga Women. Once Radom found their serving rhythm, they were able to dictate the tempo and force Lodz into more predictable attacks.

Key Moments

• First set: Lodz used a strong block and home crowd to edge the opener 25-22.
• Second set: Radom improved their reception and leveled the match 25-22.
• Third set: A mid-set run from the visitors created separation, and they took it 25-20.
• Fourth set: Radom maintained control and closed out the match 25-18.

Tactical Story

Radom’s adjustment after the first set was clear: they increased their serving pressure and forced Lodz into more difficult first-contact situations. That allowed the visitors to set up their block more effectively and generate transition points. Radom’s setter also began to involve the middle attack more frequently, which pulled Lodz’s block away from the wings.

Lodz had success early when they controlled the tempo and played through their opposite hitter, but they struggled to sustain long rallies as the match progressed. Radom’s defense became more resilient, and their ability to extend rallies gradually wore down the home side.

Standout Performers

Radom’s opposite hitter delivered a strong all-around performance, scoring important points in the second and third sets. The team’s libero was excellent in reception, while the middle blockers provided a solid block presence. For Lodz, the outside hitter remained a threat throughout, but the home side lacked the same balance in attack during the final two sets.

Season Impact

The 3-1 win gives Radom three valuable points in the TAURON Liga Women standings and reinforces their ability to win away from home. Budowlani Lodz Women will need to address their serve-receive consistency ahead of the next round. With the season still in its early stages, both teams have time to build momentum, but Radom will be the happier side after this performance.
