Tactical Story

The result was a series of predictable high balls to the opposite, which Prerov’s block-read defence handled well. defensively, Prerov’s libero covered the court superbly, allowing the team to counter-attack at speed. Sternberk’s coach adjusted in the second set by bringing in a more stable passer, but the improvement was temporary. Prerov’s middle blockers combined for nine blocks, while the team recorded seven aces.

Standout Players

Prerov’s opposite hitter was the most dominant attacker on the floor, finishing with 22 points, including four aces and three blocks. Their middle blocker added 11 points and was a constant presence at the net. For Sternberk, the libero produced several spectacular digs and kept her team in the fourth set, while their outside hitter led the scoring with 15 points. Standings Impact

The early-season table is still taking shape, but the victory positions them among the early pacesetters. TJ Sokol Sternberk Women leave with no points but will take encouragement from their second-set performance. The two sides will meet again later in the season, and if this match is any indication, the reverse fixture should be another compelling chapter in the Extraliga Women story.
