Hisamitsu Springs Women sent an early warning to the rest of the field with a convincing 3-0 victory over April 25 SC Women at the 2019 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. Playing on the evening of 28 April, the Japanese champions needed just three sets to subdue their physically imposing opponents from the DPR Korea, winning 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.

Speed vs power

The match was a fascinating tactical duel between Hisamitsu’s quick-tempo combination offence and April 25’s raw physical power and blocking.
