Kolos Kovalivka Youth produced a dominant 4-0 victory over Epitsentr U21 in the Ukrainian Youth Team Championship on 11 October 2026. A brace from Dmytro Shevchenko and further goals from Andriy Koval and Oleh Bondar powered the hosts to a comprehensive win.

The result was never in doubt after an early opener, and Kolos controlled the match from start to finish. Their high pressing, quick passing and clinical finishing overwhelmed Epitsentr, who struggled to cope with the intensity of the home side’s attacking play.

Match Overview

The 17:50 kick-off saw Kolos Kovalivka Youth start on the front foot, pressing Epitsentr U21 high up the pitch and forcing mistakes. The early goal settled any nerves and allowed the hosts to dictate the rhythm of the game. Epitsentr tried to respond through long balls forward, but Kolos’ defence remained alert and aggressive.

By half-time the match was effectively decided, and the second half became an exercise in control and professionalism for the home side. Kolos added two more goals after the break and managed the game sensibly, preserving energy while still creating chances.

Tactical Story

Kolos Kovalivka Youth lined up in a 4-2-3-1 that pressed aggressively and looked to win the ball back within seconds of losing it. Their midfield rotations created overloads in wide areas, and Epitsentr’s back four struggled to track the runners. The hosts’ quick transitions were especially effective, turning defence into attack with two or three passes.

Epitsentr U21 attempted to build from the back but were repeatedly forced into long, hopeful clearances. When they did venture forward, Kolos’ centre-backs dealt with the danger comfortably. The visitors’ best period came early in the second half, but a series of saves and blocks kept them off the scoresheet.

Standout Players

Dmytro Shevchenko was the outstanding player on the pitch, scoring twice and constantly troubling the defence with his movement. Andriy Koval and Oleh Bondar also impressed, while Mykola Hrytsenko dictated play from midfield with intelligent passing. Epitsentr U21 goalkeeper Bohdan Levchenko made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, but he was left exposed by his defence.

What the Result Means

The emphatic win strengthens Kolos Kovalivka Youth’s position in the Ukrainian Youth Team Championship and gives their goal difference a significant boost. For Epitsentr U21, it is a difficult afternoon that highlights the gap in intensity and execution. The challenge now is to respond quickly in the next fixture and restore confidence.
