Tactical Story

Ślęza’s victory came from their willingness to keep attacking even after surrendering the lead twice. Śląsk were dangerous from set pieces and transitions, but they struggled to contain Ślęza’s late surges.

The game was decided by momentum and substitutions. Ślęza’s bench provided fresh energy in the final twenty minutes, and the winning goal came after the hosts recycled possession and worked the ball into a dangerous area. Śląsk had chances to clear their lines but could not hold on for a draw.

Standout Players

Ślęza’s attacking players shared the responsibility well, with the late match-winner capping a strong team performance. Their captain controlled the tempo in midfield and helped the side stay composed after each Śląsk equaliser. For Śląsk, the set-piece threat and the equalising header were the highlights, while their goalkeeper made important saves to keep the derby alive until the final minutes.
