Rabotnicki Skopje delivered a dominant 4-0 home victory over FK Korzo Prilep in the North Macedonia Second Football League, producing one of their most complete performances of the campaign. A commanding first-half display set the tone, and Rabotnicki added further goals after the break to turn the contest into a comfortable win.

Match overview

Rabotnicki Skopje made their intentions clear from the opening whistle. The home side pressed aggressively, moved the ball quickly in wide areas and repeatedly tested the FK Korzo Prilep defence. It did not take long for the pressure to tell, with Rabotnicki taking the lead through a well-constructed attack that opened up the visiting back line.

Korzo Prilep tried to respond, but they struggled to keep possession under pressure. Rabotnicki’s midfield dominated the central areas and the forwards were constantly on the move, creating space for runners from deep. By half-time, the home side had a deserved cushion and full control of the match.

Key moments

• Early Rabotnicki opener: The home side took the lead after a sustained spell of pressure, setting the tone for a one-sided contest.
• Second goal before the break: Rabotnicki doubled their advantage with a sharp attacking move, leaving Korzo Prilep with a mountain to climb.
• Third goal after the interval: The home side resumed on the front foot and effectively ended any hope of a comeback with a third goal early in the second half.
• Late fourth: Rabotnicki rounded off the scoring with a composed finish, capping a convincing team performance.

Tactical story

Rabotnicki’s shape and intensity were too much for Korzo Prilep. The home side controlled the rhythm of the game, pressing high when Korzo tried to play out from the back and switching play quickly to create one-on-one situations. Their full-backs pushed forward regularly, and the midfield provided excellent cover behind them.

Korzo Prilep, by contrast, found it difficult to escape their own half for long periods. They defended in numbers but were pulled apart by Rabotnicki’s movement, and when they did win the ball, their transitions were too slow to trouble the home defence. The scoreline reflected the gap in control and quality on the day.

Standout performers

Rabotnicki’s attacking players shared the plaudits, with their centre-forward leading the line impressively and their wide men causing constant problems. The midfield duo set the tempo and won most of the second balls, while the goalkeeper was rarely tested but stayed focused when Korzo threatened on the break. For Korzo Prilep, the away goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat.

Second League table impact

The four-goal win gives Rabotnicki Skopje a major boost in the North Macedonia Second Football League standings and strengthens their goal difference, which could prove valuable in a tight promotion race. For FK Korzo Prilep, the defeat is a heavy one, and they will need to regroup quickly by tightening their defensive shape and improving their ball retention in away matches.
