Al-Kahraba Club edged out Newroz SC 2-1 in a hard-fought Iraq Stars League encounter at the Al-Kahraba Stadium. The result keeps the hosts in contention for a top-four finish, while Newroz remain anchored in the lower half of the table.

First Half: Fast Start from Home Side

The match burst into life inside the opening ten minutes. Al-Kahraba’s winger, Ali Yousif, latched onto a long ball and drove into the box before being brought down for a penalty. Captain Saad Abdul-Amir stepped up and calmly slotted home to give his side an early lead.
