Tactical Story

Onet-Le-Château used a direct approach, mixing long diagonals with quick combinations in the final third. The home side also looked dangerous from corners and free-kicks, an area that produced the final goal.

Lege-Cap-Ferret had moments of promise on the counter, but they struggled to sustain possession. Their defence dealt well with crosses early on, yet the constant pressure eventually told. Once Onet-Le-Château scored their second, the away side’s shape became stretched and gaps appeared.

Standout Players

The Onet-Le-Château striker was the standout performer, scoring twice and leading the press from the front. The right winger was a constant threat, delivering the assist for the opener and stretching the defence throughout. In midfield, the captain controlled the tempo and broke up several Lege-Cap-Ferret attacks.

For Lege-Cap-Ferret, the goalkeeper made a string of saves to keep the score down, while their No. 10 showed glimpses of quality in transition. However, the away side lacked a consistent finisher on the night.

Season Impact

The three points move Onet-Le-Château into a healthier position in their National 2 group and boost confidence ahead of a demanding run of fixtures. Lege-Cap-Ferret remain in need of points and will view this as a missed chance, especially after equalizing before half-time.
