Dalian Yingbo Stun Qingdao West Coast with 4-0 Away Masterclass in Chinese Super League

Dalian Yingbo produced one of the most emphatic away performances of the Chinese Super League season on 11 October 2026, dismantling Qingdao West Coast 4-0 at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium. The visitors were ruthless in front of goal, scoring at key intervals to leave the home side shell-shocked and empty-handed. It was a result that underlined Dalian Yingbo’s growing reputation as a side capable of punishing any opponent on the road.

From the first whistle, Dalian Yingbo pressed high and forced Qingdao into a series of hurried clearances. The opener arrived inside the first 15 minutes, setting the tone for a one-sided contest. Qingdao West Coast struggled to string passes together in midfield, and every time they lost possession, Dalian Yingbo broke forward with purpose. By the time the half-time whistle blew, the away side had doubled their advantage and were firmly in control.

Match Overview

Qingdao West Coast came into the fixture hoping to use home advantage to climb the Chinese Super League table, but they were second-best in almost every department. Dalian Yingbo’s midfield dominated the central areas, winning second balls and launching quick transitions. The home defence, repeatedly exposed by diagonal runs and overlapping full-backs, never found a way to settle. Dalian Yingbo added a third goal shortly after the restart, effectively ending the contest, before rounding off the scoring in the closing stages.

Key Moments

• Early breakthrough: Dalian Yingbo took the lead inside the first quarter-hour, capitalising on a loose pass and finishing clinically from the edge of the box.
• Second before the break: A sweeping counter-attack doubled the lead just before half-time, leaving Qingdao’s goalkeeper with no chance.
• Third after the restart: Minutes into the second half, Dalian Yingbo struck again from a set-piece, killing any hope of a Qingdao comeback.
• Fourth in the closing stages: The visitors completed the rout late on, with a composed finish after another quick break.

Tactical Story

Dalian Yingbo set up with an aggressive high press and a narrow midfield that suffocated Qingdao’s attempts to play out from the back. Their wingers stayed wide to stretch the defence, while the full-backs pushed high to create overloads. Qingdao West Coast, by contrast, looked disjointed. Their defensive line dropped too deep, inviting pressure, and their midfield struggled to track runners. When they did win the ball, they were too slow to transition, allowing Dalian Yingbo to reorganise and win it back.

Standout Players

Dalian Yingbo’s attacking trio were relentless, with the central striker holding the ball up superbly and bringing others into play. The midfield anchor was equally impressive, breaking up attacks and starting counters with crisp forward passes. At the back, the centre-backs barely put a foot wrong, and the goalkeeper recorded a comfortable clean sheet. For Qingdao West Coast, the goalkeeper made several saves to keep the score from becoming even more lopsided, but it was a night to forget for the defenders and midfielders.

What It Means for the CSL Table

The three points lift Dalian Yingbo’s momentum and strengthen their push for a high finish in the Chinese Super League standings. For Qingdao West Coast, the heavy defeat raises serious questions about their defensive organisation and home form. With the season entering a critical phase, Qingdao must regroup quickly, while Dalian Yingbo will believe they can challenge any side in the division on this evidence.
