Tactical Story

Kermt Hasselt set up in a disciplined 4-2-3-1 and were happy to let Mandel United have the ball in less dangerous areas. Mandel United’s 4-3-3 created some width, but their final ball was inconsistent. Bram Peeters was arguably the man of the match, not only for his goal but also for his composure in possession. At the back, Kermt Hasselt’s goalkeeper made two important saves at 1-1 to keep the score level before his team regained control.

For KFC Mandel United, Tom De Smet’s header was the highlight, while their captain tried to drive the team forward from midfield. However, the home side lacked the defensive discipline needed to close out key moments.
